Tristin is passionate about education and sees his primary role as one of developing excellence in education and helping to attract new talent to the industry. Tristin joined Aveda in 2001 and was an integral part of opening the first Aveda Academy Salon in Toronto. During his 16 years with Aveda, Tristin has been had a major role in developing the Aveda schools in Canada. Most recently, Tristin worked a global team of passionate educators to develop and implement Aveda’s new hair cutting curriculum. As Senior Creative Director for Aveda Canada, Tristin has worked on four Aveda Collections and travels the world sharing his talent through education both on stage and in the classroom.

With almost 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, Kristjan Hayden has been part of Aveda Canada since 2002 working closely with Ray Civello. Kristjan has made large contributions to the media as an editorial hairstylist and makeup artist. His style tips and techniques are often used as content for beauty stories in magazines, newspapers and online features. He is continuously featured on W Network’s makeover series: Rags to Red Carpet and on CBC’s Steven and Chris where he has been an on-camera hair and makeup expert for fashion segments, beauty segments and makeovers for the past five seasons. Kristjan is currently Creative Director for Aveda Canada and leads the creative team in producing shows, shoots and education. Kristjan has presented on stage at Aveda Congress, Master Jams across Canada, the United States and Europe. Kristjan lives in Toronto and works at the exclusive Studio at Civello Salon Spa.

Morgan began her career as a stylist at Vidal Sassoon and joined the Aveda Network in 2005 as a stylist at Civello Salon Spa. In 2006, she made the transition to Educator at the Aveda Institute in Toronto and has grown into the role of Creative Director for the Aveda Institute & Academy Salon in Toronto. Morgan is a lead member of Aveda Team Canada and has presented on the main stage at multiple Aveda shows in Canada, the United States and Europe. A talented educator and mentor, Morgan loves teaching stylists of all levels the craft of hair cutting and styling. Morgan is part of a select group of Aveda stylists who work the shows at New York Fashion Week creating looks for designers such as Rodarte, Jason Wu, Christian Siriano, Sophie Theallet and Betsey Johnson.

Anna has worked with Civello Salon and Spa since 1997 as a Makeup Artist. A love for education has given her the opportunity to train and mentor other artists. Her work has been featured in numerous magazine publications and television including Flare, The Face and Fashion Television. Over 20 years of experience, she inspires with her passion for the Art of Makeup all across North America. Over the years, Anna has worked with Aveda’s product and development team creating seasonal makeup palettes. An integral part of the Aveda Canada Creative Team, she has presented on stage at Master Jams and Congress shows worldwide and can be seen backstage regularly at New York Fashion Week. Anna has designed looks for Aveda’s Collection Evolution/Revolution and most recently was a member of the creative team for Aveda’s Fall/Winter 2013/14 collection.

Dylan began her hairdressing career in 1998 as an apprentice to Ray Civello at the Civello Salon Spas where she honed her technical skills and creative edge. During her 17 years with Civello and Aveda Canada, Dylan has had the opportunity to present on stage at Aveda Congress, International Master Jam shows and was part of the Aveda team that created the Collection Evolution/Revolution. Dylan is currently the Creative Director for Civello Salon Spas and an Aveda Mentor Purefessional. Dylan has been featured on a variety of television shows and presented countless editorial makeovers. She is a regular at New York Fashion Week, and has worked with designers such as Betsey Johnson, Richard Chai, TIBI and Christian Siriano. Dylan’s passion is learning and she travels worldwide to share her expertise by inspiring others through education.

Melanie has over eighteen years of experience in the field of Makeup Artistry in various different industries including film, music commercial campaigns and television. She is currently a Makeup Artist at Civello Rosedale where she provides her skill and talent in Makeup to ensure the highest levels of guest service are achieved. Before joining the team at Civello, Melanie maintained a constant presence working with various top Toronto modelling agencies doing photo shoots and working on fashion shows in both Toronto and Ottawa.

In addition to being an integral part of the Civello family, Melanie is Assistant Creative Director on the Aveda Canada Creative Team. Her vision and creativity have made significant contributions to Master Jams and Congress presentations showcased by Team Canada across the globe.
